Robert Downey Jr. says, “I’m an idiot”

Ok, so he really didn’t say that, but he did diss The Dark Knight in an interview for being “too smart” and over his head. He even said, “I felt like I needed a college education to understand it.” I am sorry, but it is idiots like Downey Jr. that make Hollywood the moron filled wasteland that it is today. It is the people that can’t think out of a paper bag, or understand literature (or even analyize anything for that matter) that make stupid, no thought movies. I mean, I learned how to analyze a work of literature in high school, I didn’t need a college education for that. Plus, who cares if you needed a college education? Maybe you should take a hint and actually start enhancing your brain power beyond, “I like booze”. Seriously, Downey Jr. I liked Ironman and thought you did a good job, but your comments just make me really sad. Dude, go to a library and read a book. It’s free. Seriously, try it.

The Dark Knight Reaches 400 Million

The Dark Knight is number one for the fourth week in a row at the box office. It also has reached above 400 Million in Gross sales. It is currently number three in the all time Box Office sales right under Star Wars and Titanic. Most producers and executives for the film believe it will cap out at about 510 million. If this is true, it won’t beat Titanic, but it will make the number two mark on all time Box Office sales. For a Batman flick, that’s pretty amazing.

But it’s obviously more than just a Batman film.

The Dark Knight v. Titanic

Can The Dark Knight sink the Titanic?

Can The Dark Knight sink the Titanic?

The Dark Knight has proven itself worthy to tackle the juggernaught known as “Titanic”. Titanic grossed approximately 600 million and has been the reigning champ in the Box Office for quite awhile now. But we all knew that a rising star would be able to come to the challenge and defeat the evil monster starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Where is the Dark Knight right now? It’s at 300 million currently, but that is just last weeks numbers and the way that movie theater’s are still selling out there is a lot of speculation from producers at Hollywood that if it keeps that up it will probably come close if not over the Titanic limit.

Personally, if Batman can sink the Titanic’s record I would be so ridiculously happy. Who better than Batman to take on such a horrific monster? It seems like it was written in the stars. All I keep picturing is Kate saying, “Jack, I’m flying!” and then the Joker walking up and pushing her off the edge.

We’ll have to keep watch for the Bat signal.
